YOUR JOY DESERVES TO BE

as big as your purpose.

You’ve built a life that matters. Now let joy show you how to love living it even more.

Joy isn’t something you earn when the work is finished, everyone else is okay, or you finally have time.

It can help you recognize what matters, what fits, what you want more of, and what you may finally be ready to release.

I help purpose-driven women understand their unique relationship with joy and use it as a source of clarity, direction, energy, and greater alignment with the life they actually want to be living.

Your joy is wiser than you think.

You may already have so much to be grateful for. People you love. Work that matters. A life you’ve worked hard to create.

And still, you may want more.

More energy for what you love. More things you genuinely look forward to. More freedom to choose what you want, not just what needs to be done. More of you in the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

Wanting that doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful or that you need to blow up everything you’ve built.

It may simply mean it’s time to start listening to your joy again.

I’m not talking about manufactured positivity or pretending everything is wonderful.

I’m talking about the kind of embodied Joy that provides information.

It can show you what nourishes you and what drains you, what belongs to you and what you’ve been carrying because you thought you should, and what wants your attention in this season of your life.

Think of joy as your inner GPS.

Gratitude opens the eyes.

Presence opens the heart.

Courage opens the door.

Gratitude opens the eyes. ◇ Presence opens the heart. ◇ Courage opens the door. ◇

What becomes possible when joy gets a seat at the table?

  • You make decisions with more confidence because you’re clearer about what actually matters to you.

  • You say “yes: because you mean it, and “no” without writing a five-page defense in your head.

  • You notice what you want and need without automatically talking yourself out of it.

  • You make room for what delights you. The trip. The class. The garden. The music. The ridiculous idea you can’t stop thinking about. Or simply an afternoon with nowhere you have to be. (I started playing Ukulele for this reason alone!)

  • You stop measuring your worth by how much you accomplish, fix, carry, or do for everyone else.

  • You give yourself permission to change and to want something different now than you did five or ten years ago.

  • You rediscover parts of yourself that got quiet while you were busy being responsible.

The question stops being only, “What does everyone need from me?”
You begin asking, “What would bring me joy, too?”

Not instead of loving, leading, serving, achieving, or making a difference.
Alongside it.

Not sure what you need yet? That’s okay. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re longing for, and what kind of support might help. No pressure, just a real conversation.

How do YOU experience joy?

Joy doesn’t look the same for everyone.

You might find it in caring for someone you love, creating something new, noticing beauty everyone else missed, exploring somewhere unfamiliar, learning something fascinating, laughing until you can’t breathe, or sitting quietly beside a mountain stream.

That’s why I created the Four Joy Styles:

  • Earth Joy: The Nurturer

  • Fire Joy: The Igniter

  • Water Joy: The Perceiver

  • Air Joy: The Seeker

Your primary Joy Style isn’t a box. It’s a starting place for understanding how you most naturally access joy, energy, meaning, and connection.

Take the free quiz and you’ll receive a 16-page personalized Joy Style Guide to help you recognize and cultivate more of what brings you joy.

Joy needs more than a moment. It needs roots.

Knowing what brings you joy matters. Learning how to build a life where joy can actually take root matters even more.

That’s the fertile soil of my Seven Seeds of Joy framework:

Clarity · Worth · Grace · Wonder · Belonging · Expression · Purpose

Together, they help you create the inner and outer conditions that allow both you and your joy to flourish.

Not as another thing to achieve, but as a way of living.

I know what it’s like to put purpose ahead of joy.

For more than thirty years, I’ve done work that mattered through public service, nonprofit leadership, advocacy, education, consulting, speaking, and coaching.

I believed deeply in service. I also became very good at sacrificing my own joy for it.

The rule seemed obvious: Do the important things first. Joy can wait.
Except the important things never really end.

Eventually, I started asking a different question:
What if joy and purpose were never supposed to compete?

What if joy wasn’t a distraction from a meaningful life, but part of what makes that life more meaningful. sustainable, fulfilling, and truly ours?

That question changed the way I live. It also became the foundation of Joy Aligned Life.

Joy and purpose belong on the same team.

Bringing joy into leadership?

The same questions that shape our individual lives show up in the organizations we lead.

How do we pursue meaningful missions without sacrificing the energy and passion of the people committed to them?

Through Joy Aligned Leadership, I work with nonprofit and mission-driven leaders, teams, and organizations through my Joy Metric tool, the Seven Seeds framework, workshops, speaking, and consulting.

Burnout does not have to be the price of making a difference.
When Joy is the fuel for your Purpose, you can flourish together.
